The Period of Growth
The stud had been growing and developing. In 1967 there were 158 trotters, in 1971 — 250. In 1972 it was decided that Zlynski stud would specialise on American trotter breeds and all Russian trotters would be transferred in other places. American horses acclimatised well in Orlovschina and showed excellent results. However, in 1977 administration of the stud received new instructions: to transfer standardbred livestock to Kuban state farm and to supply Zlynski stud with the horses from Lokotsky, Tulsky and Pskovsky farms.
